All I know about nursing future and profession, it was make me wake up from my dream, my bad. Because we know, they need our voice and touch. To make they be the better. but I looking for the mirror and I stand up in front of the mirror, I’m asking to my self, “have I ready ?” and I choice what I must suppose to choice.
12th may in this year is a world nurses day. And the title of my speech that I have take to open their main thinks, and heart, for people was still used an ancient thinks about nursing profession.
This topic is relevant with nursing condition in Indonesian right now. We have much to know about the problems, as the first is nursing act plan and until now is stay on the bad.
The second is public perception about nurses, “what it’s nurse?”, “what it’s the characters and function?” it’s still dark. Moreover some of nurse in our country is didn’t know about it, or some ironic is divorced between us is still happened.
And the last problem is some of nurse capable in our country by the theories or skill is still needed more attention and supplement.
From all of the problem that I have to tell before, it must become an our diagnoses to development of nursing science in our country. When it has come, we have must prepare to make a planning of intervention. But its not so easy like your think.
It cause our knowledge about nursing science is still lest. We’ve just to know the problem but we’ve didn’t know or not to take charge about nursing science. Like disease, we cannot to make a diagnoses if we didn’t know about the physiology. So my mean, before we going to fight we must be ready and complete with the war tools.
Just be the better than before or always be smart and good skill. Thank’s Wassalamuallaikum wr/wb.
